Hello, my name is Catherine Califf Dean. After years of working in the non-profit sector, I decided to try my hand at being a full-time housewife and freelance writer. My husband, a proud veteran of the Army’s 160th Special Ops Regiment, the Night Stalkers, and I live in Milledgeville, Georgia. We are both graduates of Georgia College & State University, the alma mater of the world renowned southern author Flannery O’Connor.
My professional writing covers the topics of grant development, volunteer management, and performance measurement reporting. My personal offerings (Hubpages & Blog), reflect my interests in volunteering, urban gardening, canning, dogs, and quilting.
As a family, we believe in living a simple, grateful life. We live as “green” as possible, volunteer in our community, live in a small cottage, and have recently started to raise as much of our food as we can. We are grateful for all that has been given us; gratitude is the key to being satisfied with one’s life.
I’m so glad you dropped by, grab a cup of coffee, get comfy and stay awhile.
